Welcome to the Easton Animal Shelter located at 13 Westport Road

HOURS: Mon - Fri: 8:00am - 4:00pm and Sat-Sun: 9:00am - 3:00pm

In addition to Dog and Cat related calls, we also respond to wildlife, birds and livestock calls. If we are not able to assist you, we will refer you to someone who can.

We can also provide you with information such as:

  • Lost and Found Animals
  • Area vets
  • Low cost spay & neuter programs
  • Breed kennels & rescue groups
  • General animal questions

    • General Information: June 1st to June 30th - every year, your dogs are to be licensed. You will need a copy of your animal's rabies certificate and spay/neuter certificate if the animal is altered. Licensing can be done at the Town Clerk's Office.

  • Failure to license can result in a $75.00 fine.
  • Failure to vaccinate for rabies can result in a $121.00 fine.
  • Dogs off property are to be on a leash at all times, and under the control of their owner. Failure to do so can result in a roaming fine of $92.00.
  • All animal bites are to be reported to the Animal Control Officer.
